Northern Cook Islands Battery Systems Replacement Project

REQUEST FOR TENDER (RFT) - Contractor for the Northern Cook Islands Battery Systems Replacement Project CK242509 Major Projects and Procurement Support division of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Management (MFEM) are looking for a Contractor to tender for the full design, supply and build of the following:

• Replacement of existing lead-acid batteries with lithium ion batteries across the six islands
• Replacement of obsolete, incompatible, and failed equipment.
• Infrastructure upgrades to support the new battery systems
• Additional photovoltaic (PV) Generation capacity to complement the battery systems and achieve renewable energy goals

The Project will involve battery systems replacements at the 8 power stations on six Northern Group Islands of Pukapuka, Nassau, Rakahanga, Manihiki, Penrhyn, and Palmerston. Interested suppliers are requested to submit a tender as outlined within the RFT.
