Project Manager

Office of the Prime Minister - Te Marae Moana-Vacancy: Project Manager The Marae Moana Coordination Office (MMCO), within the Office of the Prime Minister, is seeking to contract a Project Manager to manage implementation of the Cook Islands Island-Scale MSP Project. This is a two-year appointment. The Project Manager will be integral to the success of Cook Islands efforts to build capacity and capability within Cook Islands for ‘Island-scale Marine Spatial Planning’. This is part of the Government efforts to fulfil the obligations of the Marae Moana Act 2017. The two main outcomes of the project are:

• Improved Capability of Individuals, at Government and community level, to deliver Climate and Biodiversity-smart Marine Spatial Planning.
• Improved Capacity of organisations to deliver, gender sensitive, Climate and Biodiversity-smart Marine Spatial Planning.
